Dr. Pette is a Florida native, born and raised in Clearwater, FL.  Dr. Pette completed his undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Business Administration from the University of South Florida in 2004. He then received his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2008.  Dr. Pette furthered his education by completing a 3-year post-graduate residency in Periodontics at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine and he additionally received a Master’s degree emphasized in bone regeneration in 2011.  Dr. Pette also completed advanced training in Anesthesia at the Montefiore Medical Center.  Dr. Pette is certified in conscious IV sedation to provide safe and comfortable treatment for patients who have dental anxiety.

Since 2010, Dr. Pette has given several invited presentations for the Academy of Osseointegration, the International Team for Implantology and the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Pette has also authored and co-authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals on the topics of periodontics and dental implants. Dr. Pette is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery and has safely and successfully placed over 10,000 dental implants and completed over 500 full arch immediate placement/load arch cases.

After working as an associate Periodontist in SW Florida, Dr. Pette founded and built Modern Dental Cape Coral in 2019, which he co-owns with Dr. Luke Eliopoulos where they focus on serving their local community with high quality and affordable comprehensive dental care.

Dr. Pette is also competent in Spanish to accommodate Spanish speaking patients. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, fishing, flight school, spending time with his 2 kittens, his family and is also an avid Tampa Bay Lightning fan and season ticket holder.

Dr. Pette is a Board-Certified Periodontist and licensed to practice in both Florida and Michigan, and is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine-Tampa Bay Regional Campus.
